The following resources form core aspects of much of our programming, and we can’t recommend them enough. An incredible book for parents, educators, students and others. It outlines the teaching techniques used in P.I.N.E. Programs, the underlying philosophies, many of the activities and games that we use to achieve fun and learning outside, and is just an all around fantastic resource! Buy this book, you won’t regret it!

Kamana Naturalist Training Program

A nature based home study course for all ages! Wonderful stories, activities, questions and tasks to complete, all leading toward fantastic knowledge of self and place. We cannot recommend this resource enough, as it adds the practical component to naturalist education in our programming.

A four level resource for parents and children to provide stories, activities, inspiration, and TONS of learning to the home and local environment! An amazing adventure for all!
