The Art of Mentoring

The Art of Mentoring is an innovative five-day overnight educational program designed to help individuals, families, and communities create healthier, happier environments to grow in.

The Art of Mentoring Class has concurrent programs running for adults and children, designed so all ages can participate in nature based learning, and can learn from each other, learn together, and share their experiences as parents, children, family and friends.

Adult Programs

The curriculum provides adult participants with the knowledge, tools, and techniques to create a powerful culture of nature connection in the home, classroom, or workplace. It has proven to be a successful mentoring strategy resulting in:

  • Creative, productive communities
  • Happy, healthy children
  • Strong values and morals
  • Hope and inspiration

Children’s Programs

Children’s and youth programming is structured in a day camp style with overnight experiences in the wilderness for older children. Families are together at night, with Family oriented programming each evening, and a suggested bedtime of 9pm for younger kids. Curriculum for kids includes nature based programming, camp games, and wilderness living skills.
