Why Volunteer?

Volunteers at p.i.n.e. earn valuable experience in our unique mentoring approach, develop their wilderness skills and proficiency, and gain opportunities to learn new in-depth naturalist skills from our experienced staff. Our staff are a community of mentors and avid learners. If you’re looking to learn new skills and knowledge about nature, education and working with youth, there is no better place!


March Break Day Camp

We are seeking volunteers for our March Break Day Camp that runs in the Humber Valley from Mon March 11 – Fri March 15 8am-4pm. Check out job description Volunteer JD – MBDC 2019 Application deadline March 2.

Community Outdoor School 

We are seeking volunteers for our Community Outdoor School programs that run in Humber and Don Valley from October – June. This is a great way to gain experience with our mentoring style, learn new skills and knowledge, and spend a year working outdoors with an amazing and skilled group of people.
