Raccoons (Ages 10-13)

Raccoons are learning, growing and stepping into adolescence. Emphasis in this age group is on pushing the edges of our capabilities through skill building, collecting, and creating with our hands. With an extensive capacity for knowledge and research, we can learn more and build bigger projects.

Raccoons will embark on long adventures and work on tangible projects they can bring home. Content may include:

  • Fire by friction
  • Working with tools
  • Environmental stewardship
  • Working with wood, stone, bone and fibers
  • Journaling, research and home projects
  • Deepening wilderness skills

This is a year-round program running from October – June. Program days and times are consistent week-by-week for each participant.
